Eva Asprakis is 24 years old and in May 2023 she suffered a missed abortion due to complications with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Prior to that, three doctors had told her she would never conceive. During that time, she found great comfort in reading other women's stories of infertility and child loss and this is reflected in her book choices.
